| LEGACY FUNDS Donations for IHS Class of 1988 WEBSITE $90/Year www.indiana1988@myevent.com The officers picked My Event for our Reunion and ongoing Class of 1988 website provider. My Event offers our class the ability to stay connected annually at a cost of $7.48/month. For Reunion years, this full website offers us the ability to sell all of our event tickets and post events. We can continue to accept donations and integrate Facebook. A key feature is the email database we can put on this password protected site. It will allow us to broadcast email to everyone especially if they aren’t on social media. The secretary has spent years finding and updating classmates. With this online storage, we can keep things current and anyone can take over planning of the reunion. To be cost effective, we purchase the 5-year contract which will need to be purchased in May 2025 at the current rate of $449.00 Classmate Memorials $25-35/Sympathy Arrangement When we are notified that a classmate has died, we order a small arrangement to be included in the service at the funeral home or sent to directly to the family if no service is planned. The class has an arrangement made with Indiana-based florist, The Flower Gallery, who will provide a bud vase with a red rose, black and red ribbon and a sympathy card from our Class. The cost is higher when ordered nationwide. This process was implemented in the past few years, but has been well-received by the families in their time of loss to know their son/daughter/brother/sister was remembered by their fellow classmates at IHS. Ongoing Miscellaneous $50/year The officers have paid for all miscellaneous expenses up until 2023, but to encourage others to volunteer in the future, it might be advised to have an annual stipend set up to cover things such as office supplies, postage, check printing, etc. Although these incidentals are normally not even expensed, these items are all still costs that randomly appear that this annual contingency could cover them.
